Goodbye LA.

Growing up in a minuscule town in Northern California I yearned for excitement. I took for granted all of the serenity the Santa Cruz Mountains and Bay Area. All I knew is I wanted bright lights. San Francisco was too close. New York was too unknown. That left the glamour of Hollywood, the City of Angels.

Los Angeles was good to me. Twelve years flew by and the city blessed with me with all of the career success I could have hoped for, the husband of my dreams, an eclectic and hilarious group of friends, and the distance to learn from, love and appreciate my family. Los Angeles was my first real home; the place where I set out with a few dreams......and they came true.

But after the goals were met and the excitement of a big city wore off I was left wanting something else. It was either time to buy a house and make some babies....or....go on an adventure. We opted for the adventure.

So with all the gratitude I have for Los Angeles, I cannot say goodbye. Simply, 'till we meet again.
